hetero8 ("we") processes data in the mobile game Last Color (the "app") as described below.
1. What the app does not collect
- Your name, phone number, or postal address — we never ask for them.
- Location (GPS) — never requested or used.
- Date of birth — the age screen stores only the resulting age band on your device and never sends it anywhere.
- Photos, contacts, microphone, camera — no permissions requested.
- Payment details — purchases are handled entirely by Google Play. We never see your card or payment method.
- The game servers do not store your email address. See section 2.
2. What the app collects and why
Last Color is an online game. Playing online requires signing in with Google or Kakao.

- Your nickname, player code and ranking statistics are public — the leaderboard can be viewed without signing in. Your email address and account identifier are never shown.
- In a round's details, the players who were in that round see each other's nicknames as they were in that round.
- Your IP address passes through Cloudflare and our servers to deliver the connection. We do not save it with your account or your records; security and operations logs may contain connection information for up to 30 days.
- Everything is sent encrypted (TLS). Sign-in tokens are kept in the device's secure storage (Android Keystore).
- The app has no analytics or crash-reporting SDK and creates no device or install identifier of its own. The only device identifier is the Advertising ID, read by the AdMob SDK.
- Kept only on your device: the age band, language, sound settings, and the counter that decides when the next ad is due.
3. Age requirement
The app is for players aged 14 and over. On first launch it asks for your birth year; if you are under 14, the game does not open. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 14. Only the resulting age band is kept on your device, and it is used only to choose ad settings (age-appropriate content rating, and non-personalized ads where required).
4. Ads and your consent
- Ads are full-screen ads shown only between rounds — never during a round. Buying "Remove ads" turns them off for your account.
- Personalized ads: shown only to players in the adult age band; otherwise ads are non-personalized. Ad content is limited to the PG rating.
- EEA, UK and Switzerland: on first launch Google's consent form (UMP) asks for your choice. You can change it any time in Lobby → ⚙ Settings → Ad consent settings. The form and that button appear only in those regions.
- Reset or delete your Advertising ID: Android Settings → Google → Ads.
5. Retention
- Account data (email, account identifier, player code, nickname, purchase record) is kept until you delete your account, and is erased when you do.
- Round records are kept for as long as the game is operated, because each round is also part of the other players' history. When you delete your account your seats are unlinked from you (see section 6).
- Security and operations logs (time, request path, room events, and in some cases connection information such as an IP address) are deleted within 30 days.
- Backups of the game database are encrypted and roll over; deleted data is gone from all backups within 120 days.
- On-device data is removed when you uninstall the app.
- Data collected by Google is retained under Google's policies — Google Privacy Policy, How Google uses ads data.
6. Your choices
- Delete your account: in the lobby, tap ⚙ (next to your nickname) to open Settings → Delete account → Delete. This deletes your sign-in account, profile and purchase record, and removes you from the leaderboard right away. Step-by-step instructions, including how to ask by email without the app, are at https://lastcolor-policy.hetero8.com/delete/.
- Change your nickname: Lobby → Settings → Nickname.
- Sign out: Lobby → Settings → Sign out.
- Ad consent and Advertising ID: see section 4.
- For anything else — access, correction or deletion — contact us below.
7. Third parties and where data is stored
We do not sell personal data. The following services process data on our behalf:

The sign-in service stores your email address outside your country (Singapore). Each hetero8 game keeps its own sign-in account, even for the same email address.

- 닉네임 · 공개 코드 · 랭킹 지표는 공개됩니다 — 랭킹은 로그인 없이도 볼 수 있습니다. 이메일과 계정 식별자는 공개되지 않습니다.
- 판 상세에서는 그 판에 함께 있었던 이용자끼리 그 판 당시의 닉네임을 봅니다.
- IP 주소는 연결을 위해 Cloudflare 와 회사 서버를 거쳐 가지만, 계정이나 기록에 저장하지 않습니다. 보안 · 운영 로그에는 접속 정보가 최대 30일 남을 수 있습니다.
- 모든 전송은 TLS 로 암호화됩니다. 로그인 토큰은 기기의 보안 저장소(Android Keystore)에 보관합니다.
- 앱에는 분석 · 크래시 보고 SDK 가 없고, 자체 기기 · 설치 식별자도 만들지 않습니다. 기기 식별자는 AdMob SDK 가 읽는 광고 ID 하나뿐입니다.
- 기기 안에만 남는 것: 연령 구간 · 언어 · 소리 설정 · 다음 광고 시점을 세는 값.
3. 이용 연령
앱은 만 14세 이상만 이용할 수 있습니다. 첫 실행 시 태어난 해를 묻고, 만 14세 미만이면 게임이 열리지 않습니다. 회사는 만 14세 미만 아동의 개인정보를 알면서 수집하지 않습니다. 기기에는 연령 구간만 남으며, 광고 설정(연령에 맞는 콘텐츠 등급 · 필요한 경우 비개인화 광고)을 고르는 데에만 씁니다.
4. 광고와 동의
- 광고는 판과 판 사이에만 나오는 전면 광고이며, 판 중에는 나오지 않습니다. "광고 제거" 를 구매하시면 그 계정에서 광고가 꺼집니다.
- 맞춤형 광고: 성인 연령 구간의 이용자에게만 보이며, 그 밖에는 비개인화 광고입니다. 광고 내용은 PG 등급 이하로 제한합니다.
- 유럽경제지역 · 영국 · 스위스: 첫 실행 시 Google 동의 창(UMP)에서 선택하며, 로비 → ⚙ 설정 → 광고 동의 설정 에서 언제든 바꿀 수 있습니다. 이 창과 버튼은 해당 지역에서만 나타납니다.
- 광고 ID 재설정 · 삭제: Android 설정 → Google → 광고.
5. 보유 기간
- 계정 데이터(이메일 · 계정 식별자 · 공개 코드 · 닉네임 · 구매 기록): 계정을 삭제하실 때까지 보관하며, 삭제하시면 파기합니다.
- 판 기록: 각 판은 함께 뛴 다른 이용자의 전적이기도 하므로 게임을 운영하는 동안 보관합니다. 계정을 삭제하시면 이용자의 자리는 계정과의 연결이 끊깁니다(6항).
- 보안 · 운영 로그(시각 · 요청 경로 · 방 이벤트, 일부는 IP 주소 등 접속 정보): 30일 이내에 삭제합니다.
- 백업: 게임 데이터베이스의 백업은 암호화되어 순환하며, 삭제된 데이터는 120일 이내에 모든 백업에서 사라집니다.
- 기기 안의 데이터: 앱을 삭제하면 함께 삭제됩니다.
- Google 이 수집한 데이터: Google 의 정책을 따릅니다 — Google 개인정보처리방침, Google 광고 정책.
6. 이용자의 권리
- 계정 삭제: 로비에서 닉네임 옆의 ⚙ 를 눌러 설정을 연 뒤 → 계정 삭제 → 삭제한다. 로그인 계정 · 프로필 · 구매 기록이 삭제되고 랭킹에서 곧바로 사라집니다. 앱 없이 메일로 요청하는 방법을 포함한 단계별 안내는 https://lastcolor-policy.hetero8.com/delete/ 에 있습니다.
- 닉네임 변경: 로비 → 설정 → 닉네임.
- 로그아웃: 로비 → 설정 → 로그아웃.
- 광고 동의 · 광고 ID: 4항을 보십시오.
- 그 밖의 열람 · 정정 · 삭제 요청은 아래 연락처로 보내 주십시오.
7. 처리 위탁과 보관 위치
회사는 개인정보를 판매하지 않습니다. 아래 서비스가 회사를 대신해 데이터를 처리합니다.

로그인 서비스는 이메일 주소를 국외(싱가포르)에 보관합니다. 같은 이메일 주소라도 로그인 계정은 hetero8 게임마다 따로 있습니다.
